Laci joined the project in 2016 after completing her B. S. in Biology from the University of Tulsa, where she is currently working on her Ph.D. Laci uses Next Generation Sequencing methods to understand the spatial and temporal dynamics of swallow bug movement among cliff swallow colonies. She is interested in how cliff swallows respond to anthropogenic and climate-based environmental changes by investigating land use heterogeneity within cliff swallow colony foraging areas.
